It was an amazing experience! I wouldn’t mind to live there for a short period… maybe in the future… who can know it! haha! It’s an incredible city always in movement, full of contrast, in a constant struggle. In short, it is a city-world, a representation of the global conflicts in a local context! Interesting and, at the same time, a hard view of the reality.
We participated in the Eurau Conferences 2014 (http://www.eurau.org/). It was an oportunity to explain the case of El Cabanyal: the struggle against the urban plan designed by the city council that pretends to demolish part of the neighbourhood, its memory and identity.
